Brewing Nilgiri green tea

1. Boil fresh water
Boil fresh water in a kettle or boiling pan until it is simmering hot (hint: bubbles start to form, 70-80c).
Pro Tips:
- Avoid over boiling water for green tea to preserve the natural smooth taste.

2. Steeping wisely
Put 2g (1 tablespoon) of loose green tea leaves in a pot. Pour hot water on top of tea leaves, close the lid, and let it steep for 2-3 mins.
Pro Tips:
- Use no more than 1 tablespoon of green tea leaves to preserve smooth natural aroma and slight bitterness.
- Steep no more than 2-3 mins to preserve natural taste!
- Add a small lemon slice or 2-3 mint leaves or 2-3 tulsi leaves in the pot, and let them steep together with tea leaves.

3. Pour or ice tea?
- Pour it hot in a tea cup and enjoy the fresh green tea.
- For iced green tea, open the pot lid and let it rest until room temperature.

- Open the lid and wait until the pot is down to room temperature.
- Put the pot/cup in fridge and let it rest for 2-3 hours.
- After 2-3 hours, pour iced green tea in a glass and add few ice cubes on top.

- 1 tablespoon of green tea leaves is all you need, no more.
- Do not steep more than 2-3 mins.
