Pro Tips:
- Avoid over boiling water for green tea to preserve the natural smooth taste.
-
2. Steeping wisely
Put 2g (1 tablespoon) of loose green tea leaves in a pot. Pour hot water on top of tea leaves, close the lid, and let it steep for 2-3 mins.

- Add a small lemon slice or 2-3 mint leaves or 2-3 tulsi leaves in the pot, and let them steep together with tea leaves.
-
3. Pour or ice tea?
- Pour it hot in a tea cup and enjoy the fresh green tea.
- For iced green tea, open the pot lid and let it rest until room temperature.
-
4. I just love it cold
- Open the lid and wait until the pot is down to room temperature.
- Put the pot/cup in fridge and let it rest for 2-3 hours.
- After 2-3 hours, pour iced green tea in a glass and add few ice cubes on top.
Enjoy it refreshingly!
-
5. Avoid doing this
- Do not boil water more than needed.
- 1 tablespoon of green tea leaves is all you need, no more.
- Do not steep more than 2-3 mins.
- Add a slice of lemon or 2-3 mint leaves or 2-3 tulsi leaves from Step 2 onwards. Avoid doing so in Step 1 to get more balanced flavored green tea.
